I left Valda Energy 2 months ago. I am still waiting for my £258 refund for the overpayments they have taken. It is extremely difficult to get hold of Valda on the phone...over an hour waiting on hold and the call back system does not work. Every time I have got through to them I am given spurious reasons as to why no refund is forthcoming. The customer service after you sign up is a complete joke. They have ignored all of the 5 emails to the customer relations email address that I have sent. You may save a few quid but I can assure it is not worth the hassle with these jokers.
