I would like to express my deep dissatisfaction with how user accounts are managed by Steam, owned by Valve Corporation.

The implementation of Steam Guard was done without clear notification, without explicit user consent, and most importantly without properly verifying the accuracy of the contact information. As a result, an incorrect email address was associated with my account, completely locking me out of an account I have used for years and spent real money on.

Since then, it has been an absolute nightmare.

Despite providing:

my full personal details,

my historical email address,

my phone number,

my bank card information,

purchase receipts,

and even original physical CD keys,

the support team keeps refusing to resolve the situation, constantly asking for additional information, sometimes inconsistent or impossible to provide for an old account.

What is most frustrating is the feeling of being treated like a fraudster, even though I am the legitimate owner. The support team seems unable or unwilling to properly review the account history or make a logical decision based on the extensive proof already provided.

The customer service feels:

completely impersonal,

driven by automated responses,

and most importantly, unable to actually solve problems.

We are talking about a many-years-old account, with a clear purchase history, identifiable information, and concrete proof of ownership.

Today, I am locked out of my own games, with no real solution, because of a security system imposed without proper safeguards and an ineffective support service.

This is simply unacceptable for a company of this size.

Steam is very efficient at selling games, but completely fails when a customer faces a serious account issue.

I strongly advise against trusting a platform that can make you lose access to your purchases overnight, without any real resolution.

CS2 Faces Major Issues with Cheating and Server Quality

Having played this game for years, I see immense potential in it, but the current situation is incredibly frustrating for dedicated players. Cheating is rampant, with players using clear aimbots, wallhacks, or account boosting remaining active for weeks without bans. This severely undermines the integrity of the ranking system and makes competitive play feel pointless. Server quality is another pressing issue; outside a few key regions, players deal with unreliable routing, high packet loss, and poor hit registration. This creates significant disadvantages based on geographical location, leading to an inconsistent and unfair experience. It's disheartening that such an iconic esports title seems to neglect its core competitive essence. While updates for the skin economy and monetization are frequent, problems related to cheating, server quality, and matchmaking persist unresolved. Players are looking for a fair, skill-based, and technically reliable game. Without meaningful improvements in anti-cheat, server infrastructure, and matchmaking integrity, this game risks losing the loyal player base that built its legacy.

Disappointment with CS2's Current Condition

As a long-time player, I recognize the potential in this game, but it’s currently in a disappointing state for dedicated fans. Cheating is widespread, with players using obvious hacks remaining active for weeks without consequences. This damages the ranking system's integrity and makes competitive play feel futile. Server quality is another significant issue; outside a few regions, players face unstable connections and poor performance, leading to an inconsistent experience. It’s saddening that such a storied title neglects its competitive roots. While the skin economy and monetization see regular updates, issues with cheating, server quality, and matchmaking remain unresolved. Players desire a fair and skill-driven game. Without meaningful improvements in these areas, the game risks losing its dedicated player base.

Disappointing Developer Actions

The developers seem unmotivated and inactive, yet they profit immensely. It's quite shameful.

Unfair Pricing Practices

They take advantage of young players. Be cautious. I understand the value of items, but if you buy a game for $40, play for just 2 hours, and then see it drop to $3 days later, they won’t refund the difference. A few days should warrant some consideration, but they seem to be taking advantage of players.

Unacceptable Return Policy

This company exemplifies how monopolies can be detrimental. Their poor return policy requires you to request a refund within 14 days of purchase, not from when you download it. If you buy a game during a sale but don’t download it until weeks later and find it makes you ill, they refuse to refund you. In summary, this company seems to believe alienating its customers is the path to profit. Good luck with that; I suspect competitors will benefit.

Frustrating Ranking System

It's incredibly frustrating when my teammate, who is significantly lower-ranked, performs poorly and I end up deranking. Why am I the only one penalized? It feels unjust and I’m very frustrated with this system.

Neglected Bug Fixes

The handling of bug fixes has been poor, with issues that have persisted for years remaining unaddressed.

Impressive Handheld Gaming

I’m reviewing a handheld gaming device that prioritizes simplicity, much like traditional consoles. This device fits that bill perfectly. You can install various operating systems if desired, and it runs nearly all games well, with a few high-end exceptions requiring minor adjustments. Most of the time, it handles settings automatically. If you're looking for a dedicated gaming handheld, I highly recommend this one. Stay tuned for my upcoming review on another gaming machine.
