I ordered a monitor online for in-store pickup so I could pay with eco-cheques. However, when I arrived, I was suddenly told the item was no longer eligible for payment with eco-cheques. Whether that was a coincidence or not, I don’t know. I ended up paying with my card.After using the monitor for a few hours, I wasn’t satisfied and decided to return it. When I called customer service to check if a return was possible, they were vague, unhelpful, and unfriendly. Instead of a clear answer, I was just told to bring it back to the store, but only within specific hours when the manager was available.Later, I noticed an option to return the item via post. Most other electronics webshops simply provide a return label, making the process quick and easy. The website prompted me that I would hear from them soon, and I later received a message stating that I had to return the item in-store—something that felt unnecessarily inconvenient and outdated.Three days after purchasing, I went back to the store. The staff at the desk were rude, sighing the whole time, letting other customers go ahead of me at the registers, and handling everything in a chaotic manner. They had to check with the manager in the back, and their computer system looked ancient—like something from the 80s. It took an absurd amount of time just to process a simple refund.In the end i got the refund. However, for the whole hassle i can only rate them 2 stars.
