I just left the Knokke Heist store and was treated with racism. I went to the store to ask for information on how the monthly payment system works, and the response was that if I didn't speak French or Dutch, they couldn't do anything. That's a lie because most of my colleagues have credit there. I've been a bar manager at one of the most prestigious hotels in the area for almost two years. Racism at that point is unacceptable. Unfortunately, it's very sad. Being the capital of the European Union is a disgrace.

Made an order but was not delivered so returned back to Vandenborre and was confirmed by the post service. I thus needed a refund and proceeded to ask them for one. I have never seen so much incompetence. I was told to email the webshop who said it was being processed but started ignoring me after a few days. I then contacted the service desk who said contact several other emails. If a product has been returned back and confirmed why does it take so long ? Why is the communication so poor ? I strongly suggest to never purchase anything from this company.
I am extremely disappointed with Vanden Borre. I never received my product, and on top of that, they are refusing to issue a refund. After months of waiting and multiple emails, their only response is that they “maintain their position,” without offering any real explanation or solution.This is completely unacceptable for a company of this size. No product, no refund, no accountability. Customer service has been unhelpful, dismissive, and shows absolutely no concern for the customer. I feel ignored and treated unfairly.I strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Vanden Borre. If something goes wrong, don’t expect support or responsibility from them. This has been a frustrating and exhausting experience.
Since December 2024, I’ve been paying €14.99 every single month for the so-called VandenBorre Life Warranty. On November 14th, my Miele washing machine (a premium appliance costing over €1,000 only 3 years old) suddenly stopped working with error code “F1”. I immediately contacted VandenBorre for support, after all, that’s what I pay for. What happened next is a masterclass in incompetence and disregard for customers.Three technicians later, my washer is still broken:- 18 November: The first technician showed up, performed a reset, and declared the machine “fixed.” As I told him before he even left, the issue returned ten minutes later. Only then did he admit it was “probably a heating sensor problem” and ordered a part. I still had to pay €80 for this visit.- December 1st (two weeks later): A second technician replaced the heating sensor. This did nothing and the machine remained broken. He then decided the entire motherboard needed replacing.- Today, December 8th: A third technician replaced the motherboard, again with zero results. Now the issue is supposedly “a wiring problem,” and I’m told I need to wait another two weeks.At this point it’s obvious: VandenBorre is happily selling a paid “life warranty” for 14,99€/month that it either cannot or will not fulfil. Either the technicians are completely unqualified and incompetent, or VandenBorre simply doesn’t care about fixing customer appliances. Either scenario is unacceptable.I have now been without a washing machine for nearly a month, despite paying for a premium warranty service. The technicians have no idea what they’re doing, replacing parts while the problem persists. Meanwhile, VandenBorre refuses to provide even a temporary replacement machine, leaving me stuck and paying extra out-of-pocket for laundry.I fully understand that not every issue can be diagnosed on the first visit, but three technicians, two replaced parts, and zero progress is not “service”, it’s negligence. VandenBorre is failing to meet its contractual obligations, and its warranty service is nothing short of a customer abuse scheme.I will never buy from VandenBorre again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting their so-called “Life Warranty.”Dossier: 64715810
Horrible service. It has been months and we can't get air vent for our kitchen installed. First, we were waiting for weeks to get the product delivered then it turned out that the person responsible was fired and our files got lost. Then after a while they delivered and the person who supposed to instal said the size is wrong, took measures and they will bring new one. It has been weeks now, no answer to calls or messages and the big box with the wrong air vent is in my kitchen floor, i am waiting for them to bring a new one. Few days ago I finally reached out to the shop and they said that they haven't even ordered the new vent yet. Please be careful when ordering and work with professional brands. This company is not reliable.
We had an absolutely excellent experience with Vanden Borre. We mistakenly ordered the wrong washing machine, and the very next day of the delivery, the order was already canceled by their delivery team. To our surprise, the payment we had made was already refunded immediately.Also, the customer service via the online chat is outstanding: the agents are polite, fast, and truly helpful.
