I recently attended both the intermediate and advanced Recruitment training courses that Vanessa offers. The best way to describe the wealth of information that was shared with us is "mind absolutely blown". The information obtained is phenomenal. The presentation was fun and interactive. Vanessa is a delight and her cheerfulness is contagious, this is the best training sessions I have attended. Not once did I feel like I was going to fall asleep, and taking into account that I have a teething baby and could do with a nap, that in itself says allot. It was gripping, fun and exciting, and left you wanting more after every break. Thank you for all the info, the jokes and laughs and for your authenticity.

Vanessa Raath is the Founder and Director of The Talent Hunter, a globally recognised talent sourcing training business she launched in 2019. As a former teacher turned recruiter, Vanessa blends education, empathy, and expert sourcing techniques to help recruiters level up their game.
Since founding The Talent Hunter, she’s trained thousands of recruiters from over 100 countries and delivered keynotes on five continents. Her training helps teams uncover hidden talent, build standout personal brands, and create outreach that actually gets responses. In 2023, after building a five-month waiting list for her training, she launched The Talent Hunter Online Academy — a self-paced platform that now sells courses before they even go live.
In 2024, Vanessa added a new string to her bow: AI for Recruiters Workshops. These interactive sessions guide recruiters through prompt mastery, digital avatar creation, and custom GPT building, showing them how to work smarter (not harder) in an AI-driven world. She’s now trained hundreds of recruitment teams to harness AI without losing the human touch.
Vanessa is hands-on in every part of her business: building new content, testing tools, and staying ahead of the sourcing curve. When she’s not leading a workshop or recording new lessons, you’ll find her on a beach walk or in the South African bush, capturing wildlife through her camera lens.
