We had Electrified S and then purchased the S3. We love them.
We have lost one of our anti-theft nut removal tools (the thing you need if you get a flat tyre to get the nut off). So I contacted Van Moof, who kindly absolved themselves of all responsibility and said
"Hi Aydin,
Thanks for reaching out.
We've got a network of certified Partners ready to handle all your repair needs. Unfortunately, we don't send out spare parts directly, even if you will pay for them. But don't worry: our VanMoof Partners are experts in getting your bike back in shape. You can find an overview of our Partners here.
Please don't hesitate to reach out again if you have further questions or check out our help center."
So I did go to their repair partners. 3 of them. Van Moof's supplier has told all three suppliers in London that they don't have them in stock and have no idea when they will EVER be in stock again.
For something as basic as this tool, that you need when you get a flat tyre, this is an unacceptable response.
I thought Lavoie/McLaren taking over would fix some of the issues. But when something this basic is so hard, I would have to say, great bike, that I will never buy again.
