If you are willing to go through the pain of doing the packing and inventory yourself, then I can only recommend using VanOne for the rest of the moving process. We used them to move to southern Europe from the UK, and everything went according to plan. The communication with the company was excellent, the driver arrived on time and the process of clearing customs was 100% smooth. You will need to prepare the right documentation for the customs in advance, but we received very good support from the company in this respect. Our driver was very kind and helpful. The door-to-door service makes the process very reliable. The driving part is contracted out to other companies (at least it was in our case), but coordination seems to have been excellent.
