Since HomeAway became VRBO there have been nothing but problems, they insist that our property in France needs a registration number, it DOES NOT, our cottage is not in an area that needs a registration number but VRBO insist everybody needs one! They have told me to list the cottage as a hotel which it certainly isn’t and I could possibly be prosecuted for listing it falsely. VRBO do not have a option to skip the registration number process and take the listing off if you don’t fill out a registration number, they even told me that I should force someone to give me a number, when I tried to explain that there is no-one to ask they jsut keep insisting that I need a number. Today had an email from them telling me the address of the property as if I don’t know my own address
