Veezu now have a monopoly in Sheffield and it shows. Booked a taxi five hours in advance, and it didn’t turn up. Rang the operator and he basically did the verbal equivalent of a disinterested shrug. Couldn’t have cared less. I have mobility issues and this very nearly ruined a long looked forward to night out. Had to make last minute alternative plans that caused a huge amount of stress. I’ve resisted using Uber up till now but that’s all going to change. They should never have been given such a monopoly. Absolutely terrible service. RIP City Cars and DB taxis….
