Country to coast tree services contacted Verizon connect regarding a GPS tracker for one of our expensive chippers. They told us that the unit needs to be hard wired into our machines. Our machine suppliers told us we would void warranty on our product if we installed the product from Verizon connect. We contacted Verizon the next day and told them that their product is not fit for purpose. Australian Consumer law states that if the product is not fit for purpose the consumer hasn’t entered into any contract. Verizon collected our information off the internet and started a contract that we do not agree with. They use shark tactics and continue to call us hoping we will cancel a contract verbally that doesn’t exist. They continue to charge us for a unit we don’t have and tracking of this unit that’s not in our machines. They are complete scammers with salesman shark tactics. Extreme Warning to anyone communicating with this company. We use trackers from a western Australian company that value their clients. Verizon are playing a very risky game with the con they run against Australian citizens
