Over seven day period. These people watched my dog die. They did nothing to help her. Yes, they charged $5000 to do blood test and x-rays and tell me what’s wrong but they did nothing to save her. These are greedy psychopaths the young kids that work there can’t save a pets life. They’re young and clueless to add insult to injury they lied and blamed me save your money go to your vet. These people running this shit show are psychopaths.
Recent visit based on DVM Funkhauser who was way out of line. She called Animal Control because my sport /service dog had a brief altercation with my other dog both belgian intact males. It was a minor injury and many dogs come in there from dog bites. These were 2 of my own vaccinated highly trained sport dogs that accidently got together. Dr Funkhauser was way out of line. She even reported my dog as the wrong breed...cant she read the chart? She is being reported to the Veterinsry Board. Up until now I gave very high ratings to VEG but will never go back to my local VEG in Oceanside CA nor recommend to my business clients. Encinitas has a better team.
Immoral? Try Morally bankrupt. Took my 10yo GSD in Sunday night into this disgusting excuse for a veterinary facility. After the scumbags tried to strong arm me with $1100 in unconsented charges and none of which included antibiotics they failed my dog. She was definitely on borrowed time and probably should have been offered that option but these greedy scumbags kept rolling the ticker until I refused a 24 stay at $3500 and they brought her out in a gurney and she died this morning.If you read this and want to know how to file a complaint with the vet board let me know. Every pet and patient deserves dignity and they are mighty greedy and wolves in this facility. Called today to inform them and “crystal” (unclear because she spoke like she had a mouth of food) hung up on me.I will soon have a live site to address the bottom feeding and criminal activity at Veg.It will be a blessing when I get an injunction to shut down this consumer pet trap and revoke every vet of a license so they can peddle bullshit someplace else, like out of this country.Thanks VEG for giving me my dying dog back so she could suffer all night as a result of your gross negligence and disregard for any integrity or morality. Consumer protection violations all around. Watched them scam the groups of loving pet owners around me like charlatans. My dog probably needed to be put down last night but owership and the board want $$$$. Well you pay for this indiscretion VEG.
BEWARE!!!Dr. Anthony Chance ofVeterinary Emergency Group (VEG) in Brentwood, MissouriIs a heartless, sadistic, monster!He gave my cat the wrong drugs. This was confirmed by another veterinarian. As a result she suffered horribly for over an hour before she was euthenized when I requested, "extra comfort measures". He showed no remorese, took zero responsibility, was utterly heartless and very self-rightious. He is a terrible vet who should not be allowed to work with animals.
Way overpriced! They charged $562 to euthanize a sick guinea pig. I paid half of that amount to euthanize my full-grown dog! They take advantage of families with "semi" exotic pets (i.e. guinea pigs!!!) that are in desperate situations. I would not go here. Find an emergency vet that cares about PEOPLE and not just their bottom line!
I visited the Carle Place, NY office. I arrived with a messy dog who pooped and threw up in the car and the first thing they did was clean her up for me. Offered what services they felt were needed and the price. Never forced anything on me and discussed all options without judgment. My baby had to stay the night and the updates were timely and informative. I didnt know this place existed but will now NEVER forget. They were absolutely AWESOME :)
My cat was dying and they figured out what was wrong when a previous clinic had not. They got a specialist in to do an ultrasound that same night, when no other place I contacted could do so. My cat was given the right treatment and has fully recovered!I particularly appreciated the efficiency and kindness of all with whom I dealt during a long and stressful night, and the way the vet and other staff kept me informed.
The most immoral provider I have ever worked with. Our dame labored for 2 hours in the night, and we brought her to this place to see why the pup wasn't coming. They refused to give us prognosis or next steps and proceeded to just let her labor for 2 more hours at the clinic. Then we were told her pup was too big to birth naturally, and both the pup and dame would die without an immediate c-section. It was only then that they finally told us it would cost almost SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS! They deliberately withheld prognosis and pricing information and used up all our time and options so we could not find another provider. Finally, under threat of death they charged us triple the price for an emergency c-section anywhere else. Avoid these hostage holders at all costs!
