During my online application, I paid £75 for courier return of my passport. However, when I attended my biometric appointment at the Lagos (Ikeja) VAC, I was told that this payment had been recorded as an international delivery and that I was required to pay again for domestic courier delivery.
I was therefore asked to pay an additional ₦48,000, which I did, leaving me charged twice for the same courier service.
Since then, I have made several attempts to raise a formal complaint or request a refund via the VFS website, but the complaint process is extremely difficult to access and has not worked for me. There is no clear or reliable way to submit a refund request.
I am requesting:
A refund of the £75 wrongly charged, and
That VFS Global contact me directly or provide a working complaint/refund link so this issue can be resolved properly.
I have all receipts and proof of payment available. I hope VFS Global will address this issue promptly and improve transparency and accessibility in their customer service process.
