I purchased a ticket via Viagogo which was delivered through the Ajax app.Approximately 5 hours before the match, the organiser blocked and invalidated the ticket due to their resale policy.As a result, the ticket became completely unusable. This was not a case of being denied entry at the stadium gate, but a ticket that was actively revoked after delivery, before the event.I contacted Viagogo support immediately and explained the situation in detail. Despite the ticket being invalid and unusable, Viagogo refused to issue a refund and explicitly stated that no refund would be processed.There was a disclaimer stating that entry may be denied to away fans. However, this refers to a possible check at the stadium entrance, not to a ticket being digitally blocked and invalidated before the event without replacement or refund.Selling tickets that can be cancelled by the organiser after delivery, while refusing refunds, puts all the risk on the buyer and contradicts the idea of a Buyer Guarantee.
