Viagogo has the option to insert a travel address to receive tickets to your hotel when your are international and wish to watch an event in your visiting country. Their platform failed to accept my travel address into their database (this bug was confirmed by customer support) and I missed the event. Customer support did everything they could to not give me the refund, ignoring EU digital commercial regulations, ignoring GDPR for a long time, ignoring their own clauses and 'Viagogo Guarantee'. Eventually when threatening a legal route and reporting them to the EU consumer regulatory bodies, they confirmed they would give me a refund and gave me a timeline of "within 5 days before the event" as well as a confirmation email of the same. This never happened.I contacted support a second time who confirmed I would receive the refund 1 to 2 hours before the event, plus a confirmation email. This never happened.Upon third contact, they said I'd get my refund plus a confirmation email 72 hours after the event. This never happened.I contacted them a fourth time requesting their data protection officer so I could report them to the regulators. By law they need to provide this. They did everything they could to avoid giving me this, even after I sent them the links to the EU law. Eventually they gave me the email.Throughout all this, I emailed customer support (as opposed to the chat function) twice to inform them I was taking a legal route and reporting them to the regulators. They never responded. After opening a chargeback through my payment provider, I am finally receiving my refund 2 weeks later.Never use Viagogo. They ignore the law and will screw you financially.
