I bought two tickets on Viagogo for a show I’ve been dying to see — halfway across the world, no less — only to discover after paying €400 (yes, €200 per ticket for a €100 face value show) that the tickets are not even transferrable. There was no clear warning during checkout that they wouldn’t be valid if not in the original buyer's name, which is an absolute scam for an international customer. To make it worse, Viagogo takes a massive 33% cut, and that's without taxes and service fees even being included. How is this even legal? The actual seller probably got far less than I paid, and I’m left in a state of complete uncertainty — do I risk buying expensive international flights, not even knowing if I’ll get into the venue?Viagogo provided zero support, no refund options, no flexibility, no real-time verification. It's a faceless middleman exploiting fans and sucking money out of the system while leaving buyers stranded. This has ruined what was supposed to be a dream experience for me and my girlfriend. I honestly feel ripped off, disrespected, and completely helpless. Please — avoid Viagogo at all costs. It’s a predatory platform that preys on people’s passion and turns it into profit, with no regard for customer well-being or event legitimacy. Save your money, your time, and your peace of mind.
