I had a credit card with Victoria’s Secret and they added this fraud protection. I received a bill with a late charge for the fee for the fraud protection that I did not authorize and when I contacted customer service they explained that I had to speak with someone at the fraud protection company because it was an outside service; I asked why was I being charged for this service that I did not request and again customer service said I had to speak to the other company... well I spoke to them they were very helpful credited my account and apologized but Victoria’s Secret Still said I had to pay them the late charge regardless of the other party’s mistake. When I asked why they of course tried to explain why I had to pay this late fee. I never ordered any merchandise this fee was solely based on this fraud protection that was added to my account. I didn’t pay it because I felt it was unjustified and they sent my account to a collection agency and they want me to pay almost $500 to settle this account. So comenity bank which is what Victoria Secret issues their credit through added late fee on top of late fees for something I never asked for in the first place. Don’t buy anything from them there items are overpriced and cheap quality.
