There are countless troubling stories about this service. I’ve had three unfortunate experiences. One involved a hotel booking in France where, upon arrival, there was no record of my reservation, forcing me to pay again. The company kept my initial payment without issuing a refund. My son faced a similar issue booking a prestigious hotel in India for our vacation after enduring cancer treatments; again, no record of the booking and I had to pay directly while the original payment was retained. Most recently, my other son tried to rent a car in Atlanta only to find no reservation and no vehicles available. We received no response from the company and no refund. We managed to secure a partial refund through our card provider, but there’s a risk of being charged if the company disputes it. The problem lies in how large tech companies operate, becoming almost unreachable and avoiding accountability. It feels like organized crime by wealthy investors, with little consumer protection. Governments need to address these scams and protect the public. I advise everyone to be cautious; expect at least one exploitative situation for every ten transactions. They need to be held accountable. Consumers worldwide are being taken advantage of while they continue to profit immensely. This isn't an isolated case; many large tech companies behave similarly. My account is truthful, as I am a business owner in London with 40 employees and not easily deceived. A collective legal action against this service is crucial.
