There are numerous troubling accounts regarding this service. I’ve had three negative encounters. One involved a hotel booking where, upon arrival, there was no record of my reservation, forcing me to pay again. The company kept my initial payment without issuing a refund. In another case, my son booked a stay at a prestigious hotel for our vacation after cancer treatment; again, no record of the booking and I had to pay directly while the original payment was retained. Most recently, my other son tried to rent a car only to find no reservation and no vehicles available. We received no response and no refund. We managed to obtain a partial refund through our card provider, but there’s a risk of being charged if the company disputes it. The issue lies in how large tech companies operate, becoming virtually unreachable and evading accountability. I urge everyone to be cautious; expect at least one exploitative situation for every ten transactions. They need to be held accountable. Consumers globally are facing theft while they continue to profit immensely.
