I wanted to give an honest review as a buyer. I use Vinted quite a lot as I think it's a great place to find some bargains, but there has always been one thing that's niggled me because I've had a few issues in the past when items haven't arrived. There is no point offering buyers insurance and charging them for it when it takes either forever or is impossible to get a refund. If the item doesn't arrive, you have to wait nearly 30 days before they further look into it and you always get a cut and paste reply from support.
So, if you're buying prized second-hand items that you're looking for a bargain, the insurance and then a £2.29 minimum delivery makes it nearly a better option just to buy through Amazon or buy them new, as prices are increasing rapidly. I would still use Vinted as every now and then I get a bargain, and I've noticed sometimes they have free postage, which is something I haven't seen for a while. Maybe they should have no-postage-charge dates where they cover the costs, as this would draw more buyers to the platform. As I said, I do use it and will continue to use it, but I also look at other options now before I do buy from them.
