Vinted is such a bad company thinking they are all that but the are not they always replying the same things to people and changing names like bots is in the company and suspending people for no reason saying to go pro when I am already been a pro seller
Really unhelpful staff they gladly refund people back when an item hasn’t been returned an gladly release funds when an item is lost an you keep asking for help with the same reply back very bad customer service I deleted my acc as they are happy to refund a lady that did not send an item back as a return won’t be using them again at all what so ever it’s like talking to a brick wall
I was sold a counterfeit Funko. The seller requested a return which I had to pay the shipping on and I can’t leave them a review. This seller has almost 5 star overall reviews and I’ve looked at their other items which appear to also be fake. I report the items and Vinted says they can’t do anything. This seller gets to keep selling counterfeits, which is against Vinted’s policies, with no repercussions.
So disappointed with Vinted - something didn’t arrive and they said we’ll try delivery man said he delivered so we can’t refund you !- no photo !- nothing - I’m shocked and won’t use them again -
Utter rubbish since they changed their sizing for listings. It’s now impossible to search by size because they no longer correspond to UK sizing, so sellers have to state the UK size in the listing to avoid confusion. Swamped with overpriced items too, not sure why. Probably because it’s not just clothes now so the rot of ‘mini businesses’ has crept in as with other sites. Same story…start out great, change things, then the decline begins. I’m going back to eBay for clothes as I can at least search by UK size and it’s clear. Confusion is never an improvement and there are enough complaints for Vinted to see they messed up there!
Customer service is pretty much non existent…just patronising AI style replies and no help or interest whatsoever. I’d be surprised is actual people are involved. If they are, how do I apply as it’s pay for doing nothing!
Positive experience selling but for buyers beware. I've been sent the wrong item and its damaged. Raised an issue, the seller had requested a return which I have to pay for under the terms of the site and then only when the seller gets the item back will said seller decide if I get a refund.... I highly doubt I will so im out of pocket. Its got to be a scammed!
I've had mixed experiences with Vinted, had some very good bargains and have had some absolute tat! I think it's how people perceive the conditions of the items they are selling, what's "very good" to them, is not very good to me. I had an issue where I purchased a shaver for £100, it was sent via Evri, had a message saying it was beyond repair & it would be returned to the seller... BUT waiting for a refund! I had to wait over a month, that's not acceptable, customer service couldn't care less, as a previous reviewer wrote "buyer beware".
Buying clothes had no problems although wouldn't reccomed buying trainers of here new has most are fake and drop to bits after a week messaged the seller who said was real when clearly was not
BUYER BEWARE: Bought an item listed as "new without tags". It arrived stained, ripped on the inside & visibly well worn. Seller was very rude and turned abusive. I had to pay postage to send it back. I find that absolutely disgraceful. Vinted won't review your issue like Etsy would. They just tell you that you have to pay to return. Considering the item was sold to dupe the customer, is very unfair... And what's worse is.... YOU CAN'T LEAVE A REVIEW IF YOU RETURN AN ITEM!! So she can scam others
Vinted has been a pain to deal with, they have bots crawling over causing a whole lot of grief to sellers! They have a draconian policy in place and incompetent agents who are snowed under with volumes of requests. About time a new contender came in the market - Vinted is aggressive at becoming the Amazon of second hand clothing and accessories but should lose users soon who will be looking to sell elsewhere.
