I purchased an item on Vinted that did not match the description or photos in the listing. When I received it, the item was clearly faulty/not as described. I returned it at my own expense, yet I never received a refund — not even for the return shipping costs.
When I contacted Vinted support, they refused to help. The seller was also unhelpful and rude.
This is a clear violation of EU consumer rights (Directive 2019/771), which states that if a product does not match its description, the seller must repair, replace, or refund it free of charge.
I strongly advise anyone in the EU to be very careful when using this platform. They do not protect buyers and ignore EU law.
