I tried to upgrade to a pro account, the process failed. I can no longer access my account. I have a balance of over 1k. Support do not read messages properly, they ask for things that have been supplied. If they do not know how to answer, they ignore the ticket as the support ticket auto closes after 48 hours. I have emailed the legal team, they do the same. Auto-close emails, do not answer questions about legal processes, timelines, etc... Legally they should tell me their complaint process and they auto-close. I now need to talk to a solicitors to find out how to get access to my money and go to small claim court I guess. Do not use. Scam company!
bought an item directly on Vinted, in good faith. Later, I resold it, also in good faith. When the buyer claimed it might be unauthentic, Vinted canceled the transaction, refunded the buyer, and allowed them to keep the item.
Result:
I lost the money (~400 RON)
I lost the item
I received no real support or fair investigation
This means double loss for the seller, even when acting honestly.
Vinted’s system is completely biased against sellers. Buyers are fully protected, while sellers carry all the risk, even when they are also victims.
This creates an unfair and unsafe marketplace. I will never sell here again and I strongly warn other sellers to be very careful.
I have over 500 5-star reviews and only sell authentic items. All of a sudden Vinted blocked my account claiming fraudulent behaviour. I can’t appeal and their ”professional customer service” is non existent. I only get replies from a bot. The sheer amount of counterfeit products that are being sold daily on Vinted, but no, they block an honest seller. Customer service does not reply to any emails.
This has to be the most ridiculous company ever.
Sold and sent an item. Then I was advised by Vinted that the item couldn’t be delivered so it was being returned to me. Vinted advised I wait 25 days before reporting that I hadn’t received my returned item which I did. Now they have cancelled the order, advised me i have missed the courier’s deadline to report an issue. So I am without the item I was selling and without any compensation for the lost item! Customer service was appalling!
I bought 3 items from sellers on the vinted platform all which got sent 2 by inpost and 1 by dpd
i have waited a month on the parcel from dpd even though I phoned up dpd 2 weeks into the parcel not being delivered and dpd confirmed that unfortunately the parcel is lost/missing and that i contact vinted and the seller regarding this in which I have done but I have to wait a further 2 weeks plus more because vinted says it still might turn up and get delivered even though dpd confirmed its lost/missing. Absolutely shocking I am now taking this further with trading standards and if need be take it to a small claims court to get my full refund. Best of it is too you cant even speak with a real human its all robots who done understand your needs for help nor is there any real help for there customers treated badly from vinted.
Parcel inpost after multiple calls to inpost on both parcels as I said I bought 2 items from 2 different sellers on the vinted platform and both are saying your parcel is ready to collect from the vinted app and inpost app along with the QR codes went up to where it was dropped off to collect and the shop scanned the barcodes and said sorry there is nothing here for you but I said the I got the conformation that the parcels are here and that there ready to collect.
So I phoned inpost regarding this and they said keep checking the shop everyday to see if its there went to check everyday for 5 days and still no parcels inpost is investigated this and vinted is doing nothing about this matter and is taking no responsibility even though 1 parcel has now went back to the sender in which they have got but I still haven't had my refund even though I went up on day 1 of saying the parcel is ready to collect but seller has apologised regarding this more than what vinted has done which is nothing the only way to get vinted moving is take legal action in which they will need to pay court and lawyer fees alot more than my refund.
As for the other inpost parcel still says ready to collect goto the stores where its been dropped off at and its been like this for 7 days now and ive always checked that shop but still no parcel again inpost is investigating but vinted are doing nothing Absolutely shocking behaviour from vinted so beware all buying items from this vinted platform it might be all good and going swimmingly for you now but if this ever happens to you I hope it never does I suggest to take action against vinted as they have a responsibility of caring and looking after there customers in these 3 cases they are not.
I’ve been on Vinted for less than a week, but it’s a week I won’t get back.
I advertised 3 items and so far have sold one.
I got a message saying I had to send a photo id to back up what I had already given.
That I did, but to be followed almost immediately by a message to say that all my monetry dealings had been suspended because I had bought or sold above my limitations !!!
I’ve sold one in 5 days and have yet to be paid.
I’ve sent requested screenshots of communication from Vinted, as requested, only to be met with silence.
I’ve asked twice since what my current status is, but again as yet no answer.
You can’t speak to anyone and customer service is non existent.
I wish I’d never bothered with this site as, in my opinion, it’s not fit for purpose.
Very disappointing!!!
And going by the low review ratings on here, it appears my experience isn’t unique.

I have just received yet another message saying my issue was “being forwarded for further investigation” ….. for what ?

Cow boy company. Currently trying to withdraw my £150 from selling old clothes. They now wont let me buy anything but still encouraging me to sell? Why would I continue selling when you wont let me withdraw the money. Clowns !
I have had a very disappointing experience with Vinted after being scammed twice through their platform. On both occasions, I purchased Max Mara coats (“Madame” and “Manuela”), which were later confirmed to be counterfeit. The authenticity was verified by both the online service LegitApp and an official Max Mara store, providing clear professional evidence that the items were fake.
Despite submitting this documentation, Vinted Support still required me to return the counterfeit goods to the sellers at my own expense in order to receive a refund. This policy is deeply concerning. As far as I understand, shipping counterfeit items within the EU is legally questionable, yet Vinted obliges buyers to send these illegal goods back to the original sellers instead of allowing proper disposal.
This approach effectively protects dishonest sellers rather than buyers. By returning counterfeit items to them, Vinted enables these sellers to relist and resell fake products, perpetuating the scam cycle. It is especially frustrating, considering that Vinted charges a “Buyer Protection” fee, which, in practice, does not seem to protect buyers from counterfeit goods.
I expected a platform of this size to take a stronger stance against counterfeiting and to prioritize customer safety. Instead, the current process places the burden on the buyer, even when clear evidence of fraud is provided.
Until Vinted changes its policies regarding counterfeit items, I cannot recommend using the platform.
I sell an item(samsung s25 ultra) through Vinted that was never pick up by the buyer. I reported the issue immediately and have been in contact with customer support for nearly two months.
Despite this, my case was closed without a proper resolution and the payment was released to the seller, even though I never received the returned item. Vinted refused to offer a refund or compensation and simply stated that this was their “final decision,” without providing a clear explanation.
As a seller, I paid for a product that was not picked up and returned to me, and I believe this handling of the situation is unfair and unacceptable. I hope Vinted will take responsibility and resolve this matter properly.

🚨 Claims I returned "damaged" laptop
🚨 NO photos/evidence provided
🚨 Chat closed, can't contact seller anymore
ELECTRONICS VERIFICATION? ❌ Not available for laptops (only phones/tablets).
Bank said "can't help". Contacted ECC.
