I have mixed feelings about Vinted. While the platform itself is convenient, there are some serious issues that I think need improvement, especially for sellers.First of all, the delivery and pickup process takes far too long. I sent a pair of shoes in January, and they only arrived recently. I understand that international shipping can take time, and that’s not the main issue. The problem is that once the package arrives, the buyer still has seven days to pick it up. During that entire time, the seller has to wait to receive their money. Seven days is excessive. In my opinion, one to two days should be more than enough to collect a package.Secondly, sellers are not always sufficiently protected. Unfortunately, not everyone is trustworthy. I recently sent brand-new shoes, in perfect condition. After some time, the buyer sent photos claiming the shoes were damaged everywhere, which was simply not true. While I had clear photos proving the condition before shipping, it’s still worrying how easily buyers can make claims after receiving an item.
