Disgraceful business model, I would advise you avoid them but my purchase didn't give me the choice of courier, so little point. So instead be aware and if any retailers are reading this, DO NOT USE VIP Delivered! Their business model is to charge £20 for redelivery of any failed deliveries. When I ordered my goods, I paid for kerbside delivery, I understood this to be the door of my house, i.e. I don't have to be in. The driver called me and I missed the call, I tried calling back 7 times and got no reply. Apparently, they don't answer their phone and I have missed my opportunity to receive the delivery and they don't leave the delivery on the door step like all major delivery companies do. I then called the office and was on hold for 15mins before I was informed the office was closed, this was 4.00pm. I called the following day, a Friday before the bank holiday and spent a further 20mins on hold. Once I got through, I was told about the the redelivery fee of £20 and wouldn't get the delivery until the following Wednesday, which was no use to me as the order was needed for the weekend. I haven't come across a courier company that charges for redelivery, has no depot to collect from either. Seems their business model is built spesifically to make money from redeliveries! I refused to pay and told them to return to the retailer. Message to retailers, do you want your brand damaged by the courier company you use? Then I would avoid using this company.Definitely NOT VIP service from VIP (not) Delivered! Very scammy business, avoid where you can.
