My son received a full refund on a Peugeot 208 registration number AV23OWP bought for £15,430 yesterday. Bought mid April from Leeds branch to find days later it had been in an undeclared accident; badly repaired and was dangerous. An indicative quote of £13.5k to repair was later received although a Peugeot approved accident repair centre said they did not feel they could complete the work to a standard that could be assured as safe and considered the car a physical and economic write off. The accident centre declared it unsafe to drive. A Peugeot dealer who conducted a detailed health check inspection confirmed it would fail an MOT and should not be driven. After several letters rejecting the car under the Consumer Rights Act 2015; I had to pay over £400 to return the car on a trailer.Yesterday Vision Motors gave my son a full refund. Full reports are available to back up my statements and Vision Motors have had email and physical copies; along with a video of the health check.I am grateful for this refund but hugely concerned that the car is back for sale. Watch out people….
