The optician and attendant were polite and professional, but after that communication broke down. I was emailed that the glasses were ready and being sent to the shop, and even called to check that I would receive a text to collect, given the shop was closing for two weeks over Easter. When I did receive the text explicitly asking me to collect the day before the extended closure, I went in only to be told there was nothing in the shop, the glasses had arrived earlier without having been communicated and were posted to me without my knowledge or consent "for my convenience given the closure". The tracking (which I was only provided with after much insistence) shows the package not yet received by the courier. I am more than disappointed and inconvenienced.
