UPDATE 23 July: My bank reached out to Vita Grace regarding my dispute. According to my bank, Vita Grace claimed to have issued a refund for the transaction I disputed. Vita Grace never issued a refund for this transaction and clearly lied to my bank. I'm not certain of the legal ramifications against Vita Grace for making a false claim to a federally recognized financial institution but I will be escalating this to the highest degree possible. Should you choose to shop with this vendor, please proceed with extreme caution.--- I also echo other customer reviews in that I too would like to leave a less than a one star review!I placed an order in mid-March. At the time of purchase, this item was advertised as "pre-order." Additionally, the item was advertised to ship by a specific date at the time of purchase. When this didn't happen, Vita Grace leaned on the global pandemic as the cause for the shipping delay. Delays due to COVID are 100 percent understandable! However, I should note that during the pandemic I also ordered items that were shipped from the UK (Self-Portrait) that were not delayed and shipped within the timeframe quoted at the time of purchase. Somehow the global pandemic didn't impact their shipping methods from the UK.After waiting almost 2 months for the item I ordered, I reached out to Vita Grace via social media to request that my order be canceled. Vita Grace continued to advertise this item as available for "pre-order to be shipped within 2 weeks" yet I had not received my item. It was actually offensive.I received confirmation via social media that my request to cancel my order would be honored, and was instructed to reach out to the customer service team to cancel it.I reached out to the customer service team, and my request was ignored. Interestingly enough, after I requested to cancel the order, the item shipped.When the item arrived it did not appear as pictured on the website. The item was listed as "one size", which I believe was advertised to fit a UK size 6-10. The sweater was so small, even my husband was taken aback that it was marked as "one size." Efforts to work with Vita Grace to return the item were simply ignored - Customer Service did not respond to my emails or to the "digital return form" that I submitted requesting to return the item.Additionally, I should also note that I did correspond with Vita Grace via Instagram to voice my frustration about the lack of response I received from the customer service team. When confronted with facts, the person on the receiving end of that social media account became defensive and essentially blamed me for "not being understanding" and used the same canned language that she's used with other customers (per the comments below) like "they're a small team working around the clock" and "we respond to every email." I do feel validated by the other customer reviews as it would appear that I am not the only customer who had a similar experience.Since my efforts to work with this company were ignored, I reached out to my bank to settle the issue. Based on my experience, I will not purchase from this company again.
