Even if you are on your deathbed or have a severe mental or physical disability, they could not care less about your well-being.I’ve been seriously unwell and unable to travel, and instead of offering understanding or any kind of flexibility, they’ve made the process even more painful.They behave as if they were completely untouchable simply because I have a binding contract full of clauses that protect only them. It honestly feels as though they see themselves as some kind of gods—immune to illness, immune to loss, immune to any real human vulnerability. As if nothing could ever happen to them, and as if they were born with guaranteed health while the rest of us have to deal with reality.Meanwhile, I am the one forced to show up under conditions that put my health at risk. And let me be clear: I will take whatever measures are necessary once I am in the UK, because you have treated me like a number rather than a human being who became seriously ill. I sent you every piece of medical documentation you requested, exactly as you asked for it, and after two months your response was essentially: “too bad, you must come even if you’re sick - that’s not our concern.”
