I honestly don’t know whether to laugh or lose my mind at this point.
I’ve been waiting 3 weeks for my fibre installation, and somehow Vodacom manages to close my ticket every single time claiming it’s been “installed” — when in reality, the job is completely incomplete.
How do you mark something as done when it clearly isn’t? No communication, no accountability, and no sense of urgency. I’ve had to follow up over and over again, only to be met with the same recycled response and zero actual progress.
This is beyond poor service — it’s outright misleading. Closing tickets to make it look like work is being done while the customer is still sitting without fibre is unacceptable.
At this point, I’ve wasted weeks of my time chasing something that should have been sorted in a few days. If this is the level of service before installation is even complete, I can’t imagine what support will be like after.
