Disappointing Experience with Back Orders at Vodacom
I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Vodacom regarding my recent order.
After placing my order, I was later informed that the item is on back order. What is frustrating is the lack of clear communication and transparency about how long the delay will take. As a customer, I expect to be informed upfront if a product is not readily available, rather than finding out after committing to the purchase.
The delays have caused major inconvenience, especially since there has been little to no proactive updates from Vodacom. I’ve had to follow up multiple times just to get basic information, which should not be the case.
Vodacom is known for being one of the leading service providers, but this experience does not reflect that standard. Better stock management and communication with customers are needed to avoid situations like this.
I hope Vodacom improves its processes to ensure customers are properly informed and not left waiting indefinitely without clarity.
