This review is about a travel eSIM in Ghana. After two previous eSIM resellers let me down, I decided to give this service a chance despite some negative feedback. The pricing was very attractive for a good amount of data. The eSIM was instantly delivered and I was able to install it on my iPhone in under five minutes without any custom settings or the need for a specific app. I only tested the coverage in Greater Accra, but it proved to be more reliable for browsing and navigation than a physical SIM card from local providers. Tracking daily usage is simple through the company's travel website, without needing any additional apps.
This review is about the Vodafone travel eSIM in Ghana. After two previous eSIM providers failed, I decided to give Vodafone a shot despite hearing some negative feedback. The pricing was very competitive for a reasonable data package. I only tested the coverage in Greater Accra, but it proved to be more reliable for browsing and navigation than a physical SIM card from local providers. As a traveler, obtaining a SIM card is challenging due to the requirement for a local ID. However, we managed to get a Vodafone card from a larger official store. Unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow along the main road and even in Cape Coast, where the screenshots were taken, it barely functioned. When it did connect for a few seconds, the speed was disappointing. This experience has been the worst I've encountered in my extensive travels. I cannot recommend this service. Update: In Accra, both my friend and I experienced terrible connectivity with our devices. Average speeds were around 1 MBit/sec, peaking at 12 MBit for brief moments, with a minimum of 45 kBytes/sec in a central area.
I deeply regret switching from my previous provider to this one. The network quality is terrible, and I believe it would be better if they ceased operations. The service is lacking, and I will not waste my money on this unreliable network again.
This service used to be among the best networks, but it has recently become significantly slower. The data bundles are hardly utilized due to the slow internet, especially in rural areas. The inconsistency leads to rapid data depletion without proper connectivity. Please address these issues.
The applications from this provider are ineffective. Resetting passwords is a frustrating process that wastes users' time. Despite entering correct information, the system claims the passwords do not match, and then the reset feature becomes unavailable. Overall, it's a very poor experience.
