Dealing with Vodien Australia, just a horrible experience from the get-go.- Sometimes we get server 500 errors without anyone there able to explain why. Then they go away, no explanation.- HDD corrupted files, causing our web app to crash- Now, cannot upload via FTP; Login to cPanel and the sidebar says we have 7GB available. Support tells us the disk is full. How can a disk be full if we paid for the 50GB storage plan and have only uploaded near 42GB!?!?(This is my translation to the copy-paste messages they send through)A: We at Vodien setup the server how we want, we setup the system to use whatever space we want from the 50GB storage we promised you, then what ever is left over, you can use. Thanks, have a nice day. This is my submission within their support follow-up Feedback form on 12-June-2021:Terrible support.1. It took me almost an hour to convince level 1 support of the issue. They just ask questions instead of looking directly at the evidence provided. Their support scripts and priorities are upside down!2. It's clear your sales tactics are dubious, the information on the sales page is misleading at best. 50GB storage should mean we can store 50GB, right? Well we are told that is not the case.3. cPanel informs us we have 7GB free space. Your support person tells us our disk is full. So, you obviously have serious issues with software information versus the information gathered by your human support team.4. cPanel overview says 7GB free, then server information says we have used 99% of /home folder space allocated. /home folder does not have 50GB assigned, so this sounds like marketing issue conflicting with the product we have received. This is definitely a case for the Ombudsman and/or the Small Claims Tribunal. 5. cPanel server info is detecting issues on the serever Disk / HDD. Your support will not acknowledge this fact. "Nothing to see here" is the usual response.All this within one hour of support.Absolut rubbish of a company you have there.Anyone even mentions Vodien and it just makes me cringe. Then I share stories of all my frustrations with this terrible hosting company. With all the hosting companies I've dealt with, I've never experienced this much trouble and information conflicts.
