Vorwerk is phasing out Neato cloud services in Q4 2025. That means my Neato robot can no longer connect in the app.I bought a robot vacuum because of app control, scheduling and automation. Without the app/cloud, it’s basically a downgraded device that I have to start manually, with far less convenience and value. In my day-to-day use, that makes it practically useless.This feels like Vorwerk abandoning customers after the purchase. If I had known the core “smart” functionality could simply be switched off, I would never have bought it in the first place — and I’m sure many others wouldn’t either.I strongly advise against buying Vorwerk’s current robot products (Kobold, e.g., the Kobold VR7). After seeing how Vorwerk can remove core functionality by shutting down cloud services, I don’t consider them a company you can rely on for long-term product support.
