1/2: I have booked a property for 23 people (with young kids/toddlers) on Dec. 3, 2025, even though our booking starts 3/31-4/3 . I used my $60 onekey cash which was expiring 3/01. 3/4 after I paid in full, the property owner messaged me stating that they had to cancel my booking because their contract was not renewed! I had to look for another property and there were only few on the price range we can afford, lost my onekey cash, and lost early booking discount! And when I called the vrbo cs to at least put my expired $60 onekey cash, the agent couldn’t help. He then pass me to the supervisor and I was put on hold for almost 2 freaking hours!!! In the end they couldn’t put the $60 onekey cash in my bill, they could only put it back in my account after 2-3 business days which I cannot risk waiting before booking!!
I was able to book another property, it was under Jeeves management. The person or agent I was chatting in the messaging feature did not give me contact number, didn’t mention that they were just agents of the company (I thought he was the owner all along), never mentioned they can only be contacted 8am-8pm, never asked me how many cars we will be using (because you know there were 23 of us) even after I gave all the names and age of all the guests, and never mentioned the rules in the community where the property is. I told him many times we will be coming from EPIC and it will be probably around 9pm-10pm when we get to the property. I asked how to get there, only gave me address, door code, and wifi info. Again, no mention about the community’s rules! By 8:30, one of the families we were with were by the property’s community gate. The guard wouldn’t let them in, said they were not scheduled to check in. Gave all the information of the booking, still no success. I called vrbo cs gave me an emergency number of the property owner to call, called it and it will just prompt you to leave a message that will be solved the following business day, even when you cannot enter the property.
