I made an order for fibre service through MWeb to Vumatel on 13 May 2024 and my service was never activated. After contacting MWeb several times, it became apparent that Vumatel is the one that must activate the line but I went for weeks without my wi-fi being activated. I then cancelled the order and once again, MWeb indicated that a request was escalated to Vumatel to refund me but until this day, I still have not received my refund. When I contact Vumatel directly, a lady by the name of Grace Molale keeps telling me that they don't deal with billing inquiries and refers me back to MWeb as the ISP yet MWeb has indicated that the matter of the refund was referred to Vumatel to action the refund. I'm just a ball being kicked around between MWeb and Vumatel and Vumatel is just not interested in helping me. Stay away people, stay away!
