/I placed an order with Montgomery wards a few weeks ago under my account that I have had for several years already.The r gift was supposed to go to my daughters,she was the recipient./l 1I ordered through the website somehow Montgomery Ward opened up an account under her name without authorization they said the computer or the credit bureau across references addresses phone numbers etc. I noticed on my email that the billing was under her name like I said I do not understand how the account could have been transferred to her name anyway it's been two weeks I've been trying to dispute this each time each customer service agent including supervisors in the credit department gives me about 20 different stories on how to close the account and how to send the items back. Their employees do not communicate with each other you're transferred all over the place from one department to the next. Very frustrating two weeks. My daughter is now trying to close the account that somehow opened up the website I explained to them I did not open it because I have my own account how did it open when she was supposed to be the recipient? I will be paying my balance off and I am closing my account with Montgomery Ward basically anybody could just get known address and name go on to their website and create an account whether it be by accident or what have you luckily and my daughter's case I was the one sending her a gift. Their website is not secure or safe. Most of the customer representatives are rating of a card so they really don't know how to handle the situation most of the supervisors have been rude. Each time I'm transferred to a different person I have to explain the situation all over again because they're not understanding what I'm trying to say they're not reading the notes. This has been a very frustrating experience. Their customer service there were a few that were nice the rest were very rude and cannot comprehend the situation that I was explaining to them. I've called back numerous times and the last few weeks and spoke each time I called for over an hour and spoke to many representatives.
