in 2020 i requested the account be closed because I had lost my wallet. It remained on the credit bureau all this time as "opened in good standing". I finally ordered something, they approved it, shipped it and now the credit bureau is telling me that the account has been closed. When I tried to get it straightened out with Montgomery Ward as instructed by credit bureau, I finally got to spoke with a Jackie (a very rude person) that told me in no uncertain terms I needed to speak with the credit bureau. Don't think I will ever deal with this company again. I have processed the payment in full.
