Absolutely unacceptable service from Wards.
I was clearly promised completion before Christmas and told the sale would take no longer than 3–4 months. Instead, it dragged on for more than 6 months. The expectations set at the beginning were completely misleading.
This was not an isolated issue. I had another property with them and the same pattern happened again — poorly qualified buyers, delays, and zero proactive management. It felt like buyers were pushed through without proper checks, leaving me to deal with the consequences.
What made it worse was the complete lack of support. I had to chase them constantly for updates and push the sale forward myself. That is not the seller’s responsibility — that is what the agent is paid commission for. At no point did I feel they acted in my best interest.
The overall service was unprofessional, reactive instead of proactive, and focused on securing commission rather than delivering what was promised. Trust has been completely broken.
If you want to risk losing time, money, and peace of mind, use Wards. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
