Very disappointed after driving a 2 hour round trip - wanted advise on my late fathers Rolex which doesnt keep time - salesperson was unsympathetic to my recent loss….I explained the watch wasn’t my style but one in the display cabinet which was made in my birth year was……I asked the value of my dads watch to be told we dont do valuations….explained was interested in part ex against the watch they had for sale….again we do do valuations…..there was clear sign said we buy second hand rolex - so you must know a value to make an offer when you purchase…. I was then rudely told we are opening a new branch in Thame and that we are not buying any second hand watches at the moment - clear sign in big letters said you do???? Then i was advised to look on ebay for a price and let them know what i wanted for the watch - or try Chrono24 and call them with my expectations.REALLY? I wont be coming back, I wont be looking on ebay - oh and I shall be using proper ROLEX distributors for assessment, service and advise.I advocate small independent businesses - but on this occasion the sales women made me feel like an idiot and was frankly condescending that I didn't know what I had……That aside - I have sought and received professional advise and service from an independent in Hatton garden. Really sorry to post this review as I never do feedback but quite frankly i was shocked at the dismissive customer service.Maybe it was just a bad day for her - but no need to make mine bad too!!!
