I was extorted by this company after closing my account in October 2025. I had a balance of $55 that I attempted to pay. I was never notified that they did not accept the payment (same card that they had been billing monthly) until December 2025 when the balance was now $75. Tried to pay again and again payment was declined. Get an email today saying the balance is $120. I call and actually talk to someone, I tell them my payments have been declined and they even see that I tried to make payment with the card that was saved to my account. I ask if I can pay the original amount from October since it was documented that I attempted to pay it, but they were the ones that declined it. I couldn't hear the explanation because the phone on their end was cutting out every 5 seconds. They took my new card # and charged the amount for $120 anyway. The customer service was awful and was still trying to get me to "reactivate" my account before I hung up. I wouldn't normally fret over $65 but I think you should know about their shady business practices. And apparently, I'm not alone in being screwed by this company. And it's true, before they were owned by Primo, ReadyRefresh was a respectable company. I would not use Primo Brands ever again.
