At first it all started well. Then after a few days they sent me a couple mockups pretty much cut and paste. I picked one and scheduled a one on one with there "team lead". Their team lead started talking about the layout and then asked me for my domain license. I told him I got one thru a third party like everyone else does. He said that wouldn't work and that google would blacklist my website. He's gave me a price I needed to pay to buy a license for $3999. I told him that's absurd and that we needed to end the meeting and hold off on the project while I did some research and asked to reschedule the meeting. He said I needed to but my domain and not lease it. After doing research I asked the sales guy who would i be making payment too and he said ICANN. ICANN Does not sell or take payments for domains. I called 3 other website designers as well as Google and my domain registrar and shared my video recorded convo with webdsign and they said that was insane and to stay away from people doing business like that. I asked for a refund and I was haggle by their "compliance team member" I told him I would simply contact my Credit card company and report them for fraud shortly after they posted a refund. There website says 100% money back gaurentee so I don't know why he haggle me.
