I must start off saying I was a Weber grill customer for 25 years. We recently purchased a New grill and used it about 15 times in the past 18 months. It’s caught on fire and almost set our home on fire on Memorial Day. I was in shock and proceeded to go to Home Depot and purchase a new one when the customer service agent told me I should really report it to Weber. This is where the nightmare started. I called Weber and after sending them pictures and going through six different customer service people over the course of two weeks with no one returning phone calls and just putting you off they decided to find a loophole in their warranty policy and state it was a grease fire. This is how they get out of the warranty! I took the pictures to a fire inspector who stated there is no way of determining what caused the fire- yet Weber customer Service sucks! As does their product! Buyer beware. No one returns the call even up to the corporate office! Weber catches on fire! Weber I s junk and there warranty means nothing as they do not stand behind their product! Buyer beware!
