I placed an order for some cookie mix through a platform, and it was confirmed, but then cancelled the next day without any explanation. I was advised to reorder, but the item was out of stock. Later, when I attempted to reorder, the product appeared to be in stock, only for it to go out of stock again. I declined a substitution option, which seems to be the issue. Without the ability to choose an alternative flavor, they are unable to fulfill orders for products they don't actually have.
