Ohhhh I wish I'd read all the reviews. My experience is exactly the same. EU wall connection, and when you plug in the AU connection, the weight of the heater makes it hang from the wall and unsafe. No Australian standards mentioned anywhere. No thermostat or safety cut off value when the temp (supposedly) reaches the temp set. Was so excited for these heaters, but defintely cheap rubbish made overseas, and a fire hazard I believe. I'm trying to get a refund, but got a few emails asking for me to do a survey first, then asking for more info etc etc (which is all shown on the order), but now all info provided, I'm not hearing back from them. My advice is DON'T BUY! If it seems to good to be true, then it probably IS ! :-(
