HANDY HEATER: Turbo 800: This "heater" is sold under various names on YouTube. It is produced in CHINA, despite the advertising b/s. 1/ Currently available today (15/7/25) from ALIEXPRESS online for: Au $ 10.69, (x 5 = 53.5 AUD) Yet I paid AU.$256+ for 5? How silly am I? 2/ Product heats a very small area. 3/ When set at 32 celsius the soft breeze generated by the (computer?) fan inside the unit only, WARMTH can be felt on hand @ 12 inches @ (300 mm.) to 18 inches (450 mm) and no more.4/ Better off burning a candle? 5/ Slow delivery, order placed/paid and not received until @ one month later, despite several emails to/fro.6/ Site says 5-9 days delivery.7/ No tracking info. for @ 3 weeks, despite the advertising. 8/ Packaging was damaged, 5 units packed into a plastic mail bag with some bubble wrap would always arrive damaged. The heater as supplied has a 2 pin European plug built into the back of it, there is an Australian 3 pin adaptor supplied, BUT, that leaves the front of the heater 6 inches (150 mm) from the wall, til it gets bumped / falls / disconnects from plug. I doubt that would pass Australian Appliance Standards.Absolutely cannot recommend this heater at ANY PRICE.
