I purchased 10 of the puzzle crackers as a treat. While the puzzles are enjoyable, I feel let down that they are marketed as crackers. The outer design is dull and lacks the traditional hat joke or snapper, making them hardly resemble Christmas crackers. Additionally, the packaging was inadequate, resulting in some crushed and misshaped crackers. Overall, they do not justify the £12 price tag each.
I bought 10 of the puzzle crackers as a special treat. The puzzles themselves are enjoyable, but I'm quite let down that they are sold as crackers. The outer design is unexciting, missing the usual hat joke or snapper, which makes them hardly resemble Christmas crackers. The packaging was also poor, leading to some crushed and misshaped crackers. Overall, they do not live up to the £12 price each.
I placed two orders with this company recently. The first one was a gift, but there was no option to add a gift message or wrapping during checkout, leaving the recipient confused about who sent it. The second order was dispatched early but lacked a tracking number in the email. Despite paying for express delivery, the parcel did not arrive as expected, and I faced difficulties contacting customer service. Their system has obvious flaws, and communication is lacking. Even after some follow-up, I received my order late and in poor condition, which is disappointing. They really need to improve their tracking and customer service processes.
I just received my puzzles and am quite disappointed. Although I expected them in drawstring bags, I never thought all would be put in the same bag. Now I have to sort and separate the pieces, which is frustrating. I've purchased several before, and they all came in separate boxes. It seems like a cost-cutting measure, but it's quite inconvenient. This is the first time I've received puzzles packaged this way, and I won't be buying from this company again.
After my initial review, the company reached out and acknowledged their customer service issues. They sent me a new and much better puzzle, which is appreciated. It's unfortunate that it took a negative review to get their attention. My wife ordered a personalized puzzle of our dog who recently passed away, but the colors weren't accurate. While we enjoy their puzzles, I'm hesitant to purchase again.
These puzzles are my guilty pleasure! They may not be cheap, but the quality is excellent, and I consider them collectible, especially the Christmas ones. I appreciate the wooden pieces, the pleasant wood aroma, and the cloth bag they come in. The boxes are sturdy and look great on display. However, it would be helpful to have a larger image of the puzzle available, particularly for the more detailed ones. I only buy the 250-piece puzzles as I prefer to complete them in one evening. A loyalty program would also be beneficial for regular customers.
The 1000-piece Autumn Cottage puzzle is fantastic, but I was disappointed to find there was no picture included in the box. The image on the box is significantly smaller than the box itself. Not everyone has the eyesight they used to have, so a larger picture would be helpful.
I was very disappointed with the poor quality color reproduction of a personalized photo puzzle my daughter bought for my birthday. Customer service requested photos of the puzzle, but they don't reflect the actual quality. I've purchased over 30 puzzles in the past and recommended them to others, but I won't be suggesting personalized jigsaws anymore, as many others seem dissatisfied as well. It appears the company isn't using the same reproduction standards for personalized items.
I've ordered several times from this company, and every puzzle has been stunning. The wooden pieces are high quality and fit together beautifully. I love that the puzzles are made in Britain, and the pieces come in cloth bags with sturdy cardboard boxes, avoiding plastic packaging. Customer service has been responsive, and deliveries are prompt.
