Kyle L.
Westgate's Practices are Unethical and Exploitative.

We encountered misleading sales tactics from the company. A representative promised a 60-minute meeting but instead subjected us to a 6-hour high-pressure experience with our three young children present. He made rapid claims about partnerships, property value increases, and easy resale that turned out to be false. The contract process was rushed intentionally. After nearly 4 hours, we asked for a break for our tired children, but the representative insisted we continue. He hurried through the contract in 15 minutes, leaving no chance to comprehend the terms. Despite disclosing my brain injury, I was pressured to sign while mentally drained. The paperwork was finalized by another representative in a similarly rushed manner. All promises were unfulfilled. The contract transfers to our children despite claims to the contrary. Maintenance fees rise annually, not remain stable. We couldn't utilize the timeshare as promised and ended up paying out-of-pocket for lodging. Since February, we've faced relentless harassment. Corporate representatives called excessively, reaching my spouse at work and me during medical treatment. During a therapy session when I was legally unable to decide, representatives pressured my sister and were extremely rude. Alarmingly, our account was upgraded without authorization. When we rejected unauthorized changes, a representative claimed to send numerous documents, but only a few were accessible unless we signed first. Following that, we were locked out of our account. The company employed misrepresentation, high-pressure tactics, and deliberate withholding of information. The rushed process, my cognitive disability, presence of young children, and exhausting duration constitute duress. Their conduct is unethical and predatory.
