Don’t waste your money purchasing a timeshare with Westgate Resort. We went into the presentation being pressured to purchase, and we rejected multiple offers, and after each rejection they acted like they never heard us say NO! It was a horrible experience from start to finish. We noticed that in our contract there was missing documentation such as the public offering statement. We were asked to lie about our finances and told to inflate our earnings. The sales rep discouraged us from asking any questions and they told us to hold questions until the end of signing the contract. We can obviously see now it was an intentional act to prevent us from obtaining necessary information to make an informed decision. But that’s the rub…they want you ill-informed, otherwise no one would EVER buy a timeshare from them. They never disclosed to us that we had 10 days to cancel our contract if we decided we didn’t want this after all. It was all overlooked because we were told to just sign. I am writing this review in the hopes of helping anyone who reads this from a lifetime of misfortune. Don’t let Westgate sales reps’ pressure or fool you into buying a timeshare. It isn’t worth the hassle or the mountain of debt their salespeople force onto you.
