Westgate Resorts salespeople are nothing less than unethical! We are a Military family who were essentially robbed of what was presented as a family vacation in Orlando. Our experience with Westgate quickly turned sour on Day 2 of our stay when we were obligated to attend the Westgate presentation about their timeshare. Long story short we fell for their trap and here we are almost a decade later…with no availability after spending $35,000. We owe NOTHING, and NOTHING is what we are getting, in the way of usability or value. We have written to the CEO directly and received zero response. It is unreasonable, unethical, and unfair to treat families this way. There is no availability because the inventory is being used to lure in their next victims, while continuing to try to collect fees for something you cannot access! Dealing with Westgate has been an overwhelmingly disappointing and frustrating experience. We were coerced into making a hasty decision regarding the purchase of the timeshare, while being deceived and misinformed along the way. As a military member, I feel deeply deceived and misrepresented, having invested a substantial amount of money into a timeshare that has proven utterly unusable. This regrettable experience stands as one of the most profound disappointments of my lifetime, and I fervently hope that no other family, particularly young military families, will endure such misfortune at the hands of Westgate.
