want to start off this review by saying if you take nothing else from this review, understand that Westgate does not care about you, the circumstances that come up in life, or helping you vacation affordably. All they want is to take your money, nothing else. Our experience with Westgate has been one of disappointment and being tricked into a timeshare that we can’t even use. We have been lied to, tricked, deceived, and misrepresented in every way possible, and Westgate does not care that their employees have done this to us. This started from the moment they got us in the door for their sales presentation (they had to offer us a $100 and a free stay to get us to attend). From there, they went full court press trying to convince us to sign up for a timeshare and would not take no for an answer. Since we purchased it, we have not been able to use it at all! They tell us that we can’t use the timeshare unless we spend more money upgrading! We now have the disappointment of not even knowing if we can afford to vacation all because we wasted money on a timeshare that was supposed to make traveling easier and cheaper. We have tried to give this timeshare back, as we do not want it, and they refuse to help us and instead just demand more money from us. Do yourself a favor and turn the other way if you come in contact with someone from this company.
